Just reading this post. There is a distinct interest for Boxster brakes from one of the shop owners here. Reason is because with the big 944 turbo brakes, some wheel combo's aren't possible because of the size of the (front) brakes: they hit the rim when installed. This is especially true for 15" Fuchs rims, that the Resto-cal community here preferably uses. It seemed that the boxster brakes are more slim in design. I also think they may use another disc and adapt the boxster brakes to it. Then the 15" Fuchs rim can be used with the nice red porsche brakes behind it.
I don't have any more installation details of it than this, sorry.
