I like it! I also think it will help a lot in keeping oil pressure stable in hard/long turns and that is will do little for temperature, but the first advantage is more of a problem that can only be solved in this way. For oil temperature control there are several other possibilities...
Its also a good plan, since the only other type 4 sump I've ever seen is a Scat one and that one rquired a lot of machining, or so I heard. Don't know if it still is produced even...
I hope sealing it will not be a problem since we can't really tighten the oil plate bolt more than prescribed.. (9 lbs/ft or s/th?)
