So would you think there would be any need for a counterweighted crank on the street? In the book "How to Rebuild Your Volkswagen Engine" it states that counterweighting would be benificial to T1's but for T4's they state that its bottom end is nearly bulletproof and that if you could destroy it you could probably destroy an anvil with a rubber mallet. Is there any merit to this statement or should I get counterweighting still?
