Yes I have a '56 but have changed the rear panel to use a '73 engine cover-have a 2.7lt Type 4 with Porsche cooling,need the extra cooling vents and room for exhaust,Where you have fitted the brake light is where the double skin is for the hinge and spring support,thats why I gave up trying it there. I also made up a template,and with the shape of the light,its a perfect fit just above the oval back window,but I don't want one bad enough to cut into the body.Would also fit into the top of the centre cooling holes in the cover,but a lot of work,will have another look at what you have done-Cheers
