OK,

I've never worked with K&L spindles before but this process is going to have 2 steps to adapt the 944 brakes. Rear is pretty much a bolt-on. For the front:

1. Adapt 944 hubs to the spindle
2. Adapt the caliper to the spindle.

1 is not difficult ... get a hub and machine some sleevess to fit over the spindle so you can use stock 944 bearings and stock grease seal.

2 is a little more involved ... depending on where the hub sits on the spindle, you'll have to machine an adapter ....

The sleeves will cost little if you have access to a lathe, and use plastic blocking from a plastics supplier (cheap, same stuff kitchen cutting boards are made of) to mock up your adapter. This stuff cuts really easy with a hacksaw and you can shape it with a dremel to get the fit.

Then get it machined out of steel/aluminum.

Hope this is enough to get you started.
