[1963sunroofbug]

im 16 and i have a 72 street baja (irs standard beetle) that i am going to be going through and redoing in a few months to a year, just depends on the circumstances, anyways. one thing i want to do is put in a porsche 5 spd trans, along with a 2.0 or larger engine, maybe type IV, maybe not. its going to be street driven, and i am hard on the stock trans that i have now, considering i smoke 7 inch wide camaro wheels every once in a while and most of the time accelerate quick with a 1776cc. by what all i have read on here, i think i want a 915 trans because 1. "normal" shift pattern 2. stronger for "drag" starts. i know it takes a bit more to do for install, but i think thats what i need, i guess?? i read the comparison between the 901 and 915 and this is where i got my info. any help would be appreciated, along with installation "how tos". thanks
