There are some things you can do that will transfer over to your big T4
Weber or dells with 34 vents (change the vents later for the T4)

Dont be afraid of the big carbs. when you go to one barrell per cylinder it makes all the difference in the world. I had 28 vents in my Kadrons and had less on the low end then I had with the Dells. On the Top end the big carbs will never be the limitation with a stockish engine even with a bit more cam. Remember though, you can use the carbs on the T4 but NOT the manifolds.
