true water wont flow up hill but placing the ducts closer to the ground would place them closer to the rain water that is thrown up from other cars and what would happen if you ever went through a deep puddle and got a good splash into the ducts. Cold water hitting a hot engine could be disasterous.
Wonder how many people would buy remmele style ducts if we could get someone to make them out of fiberglass. Might be the next group buy...
