They are probably more expensive for a few reasons. There are probably 1,000 type 1 engines built for every type 4 built. And lets not forget the fact that they can charge whatever they want since people will pay for them. Lets not forget the exotic factor. The engine in some cases came from a porsche so with the name comes the increase in price.
