Do you have 944 hubs already. I have the late style hubs which attach the rotors to the outside opening up more rotor options. You will have to see how well the rotors fit on the hubs. If they are too close to the spindle they will rub and thats not good. If they are too far away from the spindle you will be moving rotating mass farther out making steering slighty more difficult. If any of those problems pop up you will need to get cutom rotor hats made to place the rotor in the correct place. Once the rotor problem is resolved you will need to make caliper mounts for the calipers. I had mine done by
www.vdubcustoms.com and everything turned out nice. Measure the distance between the inside surface of the rotor and the back side of the rotor. Mine (87 + 944 non turbo) have a back spacing of 72mm so if you modify the hubs the same way I did and the offset is the same you "should" be OK on rotor placement. With that offset on my brake kit the rotors sit even with the face of the spindle and have minimal track increase.
