true. one of the only advantages i can think of. weigh one. i think you will find they are not all that light. just depends what you are comparing it to though. if you are going to run hubs from a water VW, there are plenty of alloys available. you just have to wade through the measurements and people to find what you need. trust me...custom cars take massive time and money. how much do you have of each?
