i have the plastic ones on mine. excellent quality although the set screw can not hold position on the ball seat after even just a couple of adjustments. and the kicker is that it is on the backside of the stem. you have to remove the mirror to lock it down again.
wishing i went with c/f just to match the rest of the car, but the plastic is good quality. sometimes we cheap out in the wrong places.
