I've seen those on there....the guy has like 17,453,868,234,234 auctions of those listed under ferrari, porsche, lambo, etc. I was thinking of getting those, but if you look at the auction, it's calipers only...$1600 and all you get is two calipers, no discs, no adaptor plates, nothing....no thanks.
$1600 gets me all 4 944T brakes and stopping will better than everything on the road. Anything over 4-pot is insane for our cars, and in the rain, is definitly a hazard.
I've learned my lesson with overkill brakes on a light car. I had an Integra Big brake package (small Brembo 4 pots) on my 91 Civic Hatchback. On the dry, OUTSTANDING braking, in the wet, the tires would lock up with almost no effort....that's the negative side of good brakes that nobody ever thinks about. I sure as hell didn't.....and it almost gotten me in a ton of accidents from hydroplaning from trying to stop.....
