I reckon the monoblocks from the Boxster are good value and don’t need excessively wide rotors, so you save on weight there. As for tyre diameter 18s with the right tyre will not be much taller than a stock 15 inch. A 165/80 series x 15 is 645mm, a 225/45 x 18 is 658 mm. I used 215/40 17s on the front of my bug which were only 606 mm in diameter.
