From the T4 crank pulley center to the ground, I have about 350mm ... the subie pulley center to the sump is 275mm so that would give me 75mm (3") of ground clearance with an un-compressed suspension

Basis for this is that the crank pulley should be the line that mates up to the gearbox through the flywheel.

This does not seem like alot of clearance. I really don't want to raise the rear of the car up.

If I shorten the sump to get it to exhaust level I can gain an additional 30mm - say 4" of ground clearance total. This still does not seem like alot. :shrug:
