Cheap? It's not going to happen. You are talking about special adapters which aren't massed produced. Good ones like H&R aren't cheap either.

One thing to keep in mind is the size of the center bore. On a water-cooled VW with a 4x100 or a 5x100 bolt pattern, the center bore is 57.1mm. The hub on your wheel may be larger than that. Mine was. That may be necessary to know when ordering.

I used http://www.wheeladapter.com/ for my 6mm front spacers. Since the hub stuck out more than the 6mm I needed, I did not need a hubcentric spacer. Yours will be more involved and hubcentric is highly recommended ... and more expensive.

Another company which was highly touted is http://www.motorsport-tech.com/adapters.htm. I'm not sure if they do custom work but as their Web site says, "Just ask."
