Just to back up whats already been posted...
I've used adapters and spacers, billet is a must! Properly used, they are not dangerous in any way. A lot of stories floating around that are B.S., the old cast adapters were crap and I've even got a set of wide five-to-chevy that are stamped sheet metal!
Absolute junk but useful if you needed to put some roller wheels on.
You will not beat Lanner's price (or quality) unless you stumbled on some already made (used) that someone was trying to unload, which is highly unlikely.
