hello breeze, the setup you are looking for sounds similair to my bug, 2"narrowed beam, dropped spindles 7.5x 17 et50 , with standard spindles 20mm spacers were required, this gave an adequate lock and fitted under stock fenders. As i have now fitted dropped spindles and they move your track out i will require less spacer when the car is put back together , only around 10mm of spacer.Using the above figures as a guide you sould be able to work out any wheel spacer combo ie 7.5 17 et50 =20mm spacer
7.5 17 et70=40mm spacer
7.5 17 et 30=0mm spacer
this is just a rough guide but you get the idea
