I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I also have a powdercoating question. I have a set of four porsche cup 2 wheels that I am looking to powdercoat. Because I purchased them seperately, One of the rear wheels (17x9) is chrome. I am wondering if there is a way to de-chrome that wheel so that i end up with the same finish on all four. Or if possibly I can just have it powder coated without de-chroming it, and end up with an undistinguishible finish.
It seems that my attempt to save money by purchasing the wheels seperately is ending up to be a pain in my side, and I don't want to buy a new wheel because the quote that i got for a regular painted wheel was $500
thanks in advance.
