Mrweasel is 100% correct :agree: . If you don't strip the chrome the powder coating can chip off. The same goes for painting over chrome. I tried sandblasting a chrome part before powder coating, but it still chiped easy. A chrome shop can dip it in thier acid tank and strip it very fast and easily for little cash$
