The 1302 I used to own had a very hard life, mainly from me and it started to crack the body.
I still have to do more chassis stiffening to do on the 1303. I’m sure it will stronger than before when its finished. When I get a little further along I will start up a topic for the conversion I’m doing.
Wasserboxers are great motors, I had very little trouble with mine, only the odd water pump or coolant hose letting go. But a WRX Subaru is a 21st century Wasserboxer with lots of aftermarket goodies available.
