Hi,

must be a 72 gearbox with pulled type clutch. Besides the number normally reflects a 4-speed box.
Even if itīs a 5-speed will the pulled type clutch cause you some problems. Adjustment of another clutch lever (from a 901 or 914) is possible, but then the drill for the bushing on the back of the lever has to be closed and done new.
Be also aware that the 901 or 911-types have short gears and are not so very good for big engines with good torque. I can only recommend them for type 1 engines, or smaller type 4, which revv high. Do alsways prefer 914-trannies.
