I have a set of drum brakes from my early 1303, will also fit 1302. Brakes were working very well when i took them off of the car last week, though the car hasn't seen regular driving for about a year. The car was garaged, so there is no corrosion other than some surface rust on the front drums (rears were painted). I re-did the brakes about 25k miles ago including:
- replacing springs
- " " shoes
- " " cylinders
- " " drums

- Drums are studded for EMPI style wheels (i.e. studs and lugnuts instead of OG lug bolts).
- Drums have not been turned
-Everything from the backing plates out, including rear seal carriers, and front spindles, although I may be taking the front spindle nuts off. I can throw in a set of rear axle nuts too.
- also 16 chrome lug nuts with conical seat ( for empi/oem vw)
