Where I got my 915 there were several year 915's to chose from you must know what year you want first. One place that may help on which 915 would be: www.rennsportsystems.com

I'm sure there are other places to find them cheaper (I couldn't find one), but I got one for $1200 inspected and guaranteed to work, or would replace. They also have "core" 915's for around $700 I think. Turns out I need to re-gear it so, I have to rebuild it anyway . Shipping would kill you going to CA though. But, just so you can check it out (go to all wrecked cars, and click on pic of 911 ) under pic's there is some info about each car. Personally I've not had a problem with them (bought most of my Porsche stuff from them), but there are some that had problems. If you have a problem they will fix it. This is just my experience with them.

If anything, at least it gives you an excuse to sit in front of a computer that much longer .

Here's there web address: www.germanautodismantlers.com
