What he means is that the air that comes in there doesnt 'flow' to the engine bay. So inside the engine bay you would have to remove some metal to let the air get in(top left and top right hand corners in engine bay). I am just not sure wether this will be any problems with fumes getting into the car when driving slow in traffic etc
