Wow, I didn't know you could use a 914 box in a bug! How do you get the ring gear to rotate in the opisite direction (mid engine drivetrain converted to rear engine drivetrain) Can the whole differential carrier assembly be removed, flipped over and reinstalled with the ring gear on the other side of the pinion ?
Which is easiest to use, the old tail-shifted ones, or the later side-shifted ones?
