Well I just found out that the stock vw wheel offsets for the 4.5" is actually 46mm et.So can someone tell me please if this is a good thing.I know the 4.5's sit inside the fenders pretty deep under there, so if I got a 15x7" rim for front and rear with a 35et offset I should be find according to that site in the previuos post.Says I'd be 100% clear of the suspension parts, and the package will stick out 11mm (0.4") farther.
Now with the 15x8's with the 25mm et, it says the suspension will be clear and stick out 26mm (1") farther to the fenders.
My question now is would the frontend need to be narrowed then?
