It looked like your trans sits lower than mine sat. The above pic I copied from your first post suggests this also: the gearbox flanges are pretty low, like when you would put a CV onto them, they would hit the forks...
Could be optical illusion though...
My 100mm CV's on the 915 sat VERY close to the forks and stil it looked like I had more ground clearence.

Wally, The mounting position was set by Martin Bott's engine support. If it set any higher I couldn't close my deck lid. The camera angle may be the problem. I have 944 flanges on the trans. I could of easily took a hammer to the frame horns to make clearance for CV's, but what fun would that be
