I have a spare oilpan and I'm thinking about shortening it.
I am by no means an experienced welder, and all I have is a hobby flux-core welder.

Do you think this is doable ?
I know Mikey did it, but he's a much better welder than I am... and I'm pretty sure he has a better welder too....

What do you think ? Hints ? Tips ?
