i am a 16 year old enthusiast from georgia and i am a little ways into my own gl bug which will be my first car. it can not be too extreme as i am still in high school, but i can gurantee it will knock the socks off of any honda at school. anyways....over winter break i put dual solex 40's on it (not my first choice but they were free) and a scat universal linkage. the problem is that the linkage going to the 1-2 cylinder carb is hitting the heater inlet on the fan shroud which prevents it from opening to full throttle
. i have checked and re-checked everything and it follows the directions exactly. what do i do? thanks for all your help. -nick
