It is one of the most successful Käfer Cup cars ever.
Walter was Käfer Cup Champion in the years 1989 (the first year of Käfer Cup Racing), 1991 and '92 and runner-up in 1990 and '93.
He finished his career in '94. The picture is taken at Salzburgring in Austria in August 1989, where the very first Käfer-Cup Circuit-Race started (the Käfer-Cup is a combination of circuit-races, hillclimb-races and slaloms."
