Stock 1600 dual port with merged header and J-tubes. Stock carburetor with a pertonix elctronic ignition and some solid copper core plug wires. Even with the oversized tires 205/70-15 the speedometer would read 89 mph (143 kph) with the valves floating. It took a really long road. LOL. The down side of the solid core wires was that if I revved it over 3,000 rpm the radio would cut out from eletrical interference.
