i talked to jake today and made a recommendation for a get-together. we have spring and late fall lined up already, but nothing for the summer. so here is the idea. we meet up at jake's place to tour shop and hang out for a while. maybe cookout or something. maybe go for a quick cruise up and across Blood Moutain and then we head over to Helen (7 miles away from Jake's) to go go-cart racing. this is an indoor track with propane fueled cars that haul-a$$ for the environment. i left with bruises last time i raced jake there (and one minor whiplash incident when he couldn't find a better way to pass
).
he said he has to look into some date options but liked the idea. i will let you know what we can work up. need to know how many would be interested though. it would be a rare opportunity.
we are also discussing a driver's ed course get-together for the fall in Savannah.
