The rear lights on my 71 bus (the same as a late splitty) have tarnished and in a few small places have furred up (corrosion)
I was planning on having them chromed, first they would be cleaned in some sort of acid then chromed, this was going to cost approx £70 that's $130
So I thought if I can do the job myself with some sort of household cleaning fluid, I could then use my Dremel to polish the lights, the only thing is I'm not sure what to soak them in........ that's where you guys come in
Now beeecuzz most of you are in the US/Canada.... if you do have any suggestions can you please let me know what the fluid is and not just the product name (you can guarentee it will be called something different here in the UK
)
