Understand your point and you are probably right but that would mean you would have to space the idler pulleys further apart. There could be clearance issues with the distributor, possibly requires a larger bottom pulley and of course a longer belt. Larger idler pulleys could be beneficial. Would be interresting to see how it works, although probably not as compact. But then again, getting 20.000 Km's out of the belt as it is in this configuration is good enough for me
