I have had the idea floating around my head to put a giant solar panel/series of solar panels on the top of a bug and disguise it as a ragtop.. or at least graft them in by some sort of inconspicuous means. Durring the sunny days, it will recharge some honda style batteries to run an electric motor... so while you are at work, it will be charged to get you home.. not sure what you would do when a cloudy day arises... yeah, i thought that one up when it cost me 35 bucks to fill my bug up.
