As for Porsche engine compatible with 1303's: the short answer is none of them. The longer answer would be that while the gearbox to engine bolt pattern might be the same in flat engined VWs and flat engined Porsches there's a lot more to the conversion than simply bolting it up. you forgot the 914/4 motor which is a t4 motor. bolts straight in with only a fan housing change. try doing a search on t4 conversions and 914s on here
