coversion to electric pump for wipers

I want to convert to electric pump for feeding the water to the front shield. Is it true that the standard wiperhandle on the steeringcolum has already provision for a electric pump. If not, what is the way to go when I want a electric pump in my beetle which i can activate with the handle on the steering columm. Are there other parts or maybe Porsche 924 parts?
