EJ20T ground clearance and gearbox relocation Q's

Can anyone who has done this conversion in a beetle please give me a measurement from bottom of the ends of the frame forks (where the rear gearbox mount bolts on to the frame forks) to the lowest point on the engine.

I am trying to get an idea of how much ground clearance I will have, realizing everyone has their rear ends lowered different amounts.

I have also read that to get the cam covers inside the rear body sheetmetal, the stock gearbox will have to be moved ahead about 2". My problem here is that my 901 gearbox has already been moved ahead as far as it can be without clearancing the torsion tube.

I calculated it has been moved about 2" and the rear of the bellhousing on the 901 is in roughly the same position as the rear of the bellhousing on my stock 4 speed before I removed it.

Thanks for any information anyone can provide.

Sandeep
