twin IDFs???

I need some feedback.

My current engine is a 1596cc T1. Roughly Engle 100, 050 electronic ign, 8.1:1 cr, stock polished valves, mild port and polish, 1 3/8" single quiet pack.

The last few weeks I have been trying to install and tune a single, centre mounted 36IDF carb. I have been suffering with constant vaccuum leaks.

I have two options - 1) re-install the 36DCD and be happy with what I had or 2) go for a twin 36IDF setup.

I just feel that the twin 36s will make too many revs available when I drop the foot. She still has a stock crank.

Cars is used as a street car. Not a daily driver, but also less than a weekend car. Daily transport, very little traffic.

Your views????
