86'/87' Interchangability

Hey everyone, I recieved a couple of weeks ago my Porsche 944 Trailing Arms from an 87'. Right now im looking at a really good deal on a pair of springplates, torsion bars, and caps but they are from an 86'. I was just wondering whether these parts would work with the 87' arms. My computer isn't working properly and will not allow me to go into the tech articles for some reason so I can't even figure out what type of arms these are. The part number is 951.331.513.1R. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

if you have '87 951's they are the wide arms. my spring plates worked for early and late ali arms. i had both arms on, one after the other. my spring plates were off of a 924T (i think).

I have the 87 NA arms and they are the same as the TURBO arms. They have both a 301. part # and a 951. part # on them. I will double check tomorrow. I have 86 torsion bars, spring plates and end caps and they fit just fine. If you are getting the parts from someone parting out a 944 see if they have any of the rear anti-sway bar parts. Without the anti-sway bar shackles you can't really adjust your rear camber as they use an eccentric bolt.
