air struts

I was looking at airkewlds site and saw they have a air strut for super beetles and i was wongering if anyone has used them and are you able to still use a wider wheel with those struts and is the handle just as good if you used a topline lowering kit. I want to lower my car but still be able to raise it with no problems to cruse the streets since its a daily driver I plan on doing this soon as I get more info on what would be good for daily use and not be a pain to have such a poor set up and waste money
