Recommended Tire pressure?

What tire pressures do you guys think I should run on my car? The vital stats are: 17x7 and 17x8.5 boxster turbo twists, nitto 555 tires in 205-40 and 245-45. The car is a 72 super, lowered 2.5" up front, stock height in the rear.

Im getting the tires Saturday so I want to know where I should be pressure wise.

Thanks in advance.

as tyre pressure is dictated by vehicle weight, not tyre size, i suggest starting with stock pressures... especially at the rear.. for the front however, seeing as bugs have such a light front end, vw suggest a very low pressure.. too low for low profiles IMO.. i would suggest no less than 22 PSI in front.. when i run my 45 profile fronts at less than 20PSI, they leak air under hard cornering... when they are above 20PSI they hold air fine though.. so i suggest 22PSI in front, stock pressure in the back...

Ok. I called Topline and decided on 18psi for the front and stock for the rear (25psi). I took it for a ride and forgot to drop it down. It was at 30 PSI! Pretty hard, but handled great. I'll try it again with the new pressures soon.

The install went smoothly. Pics will be posted in the general section once I get them developed.
