Hello,
I was bought a 1974 03 for 100 EUR (!) It is in good overall condition with very minor rust BUT it is badly rusted where the wiper motor is located. The hole is almost gone and it needs major rust repair here.Does any has fix this up ? What do you think? I also think to cut the bottom entirely and to weld the fresh air intake flush what do you think ? Thanks! |

My 1302 was badly rusted along that top seal that the wiper motor sits under.
I got a replacement section off a freind that was breaking his old 1500 and got that welded in place (they were the same)- its turned out good enough for me, mine is no show car though. I also got the fresh air vents in the bonnet welded up to. If I want fresh air I'll open the quarter light window. Cheers Jeremy

you can cut the infected area off, and then use zero rust or rust converter to protect it....then river some aluminum striping and cover with polyester body filler....then shape and sand.....make sure to primer...then sand it back down when you go to paint your car.....I saw something about the front dolidads in another thread.....look through the body or the fiber section or do a search for 03
