CRX spring rate question...

Has anybody used the conversion kit for using CRX/Civic rear springs on the front of Supers?

My question is, since the spring rate for a Civic/CRX is already 10-15% stiffer, if you put on the lowering springs of the CRX, would your front end still drop due to the even stiffer spring rate of the lowering springs? Handling issue considering the front would be super stiff and the rear a little squishy?

I was looking to lower my front end 2" and there's a PLETHORA of choices for Civic or CRX springs. Main reason I want to go the CRX spring route is cause I don't want to have spacers and longer studs to put on some porsche rims....

What's another alternative to drop my front? I can't go dropped spindle cause I'm getting my stock spindles machined for the 944 turbo brakes.....And those Maxx coilovers seem to be a bit pricey considering you get the same clearance, and well, I'm looking to do Bilstein all the way around. Doubt those Maxx's have comparable quality/performance as the Bilsteins....
