914 1.7 cooling

Hey I just bought a 1.7 longblock that came from a 71 914. I'm going to upgrade it into a 2.0 in the furture, but for now going to run it as is.
The one question I have is if I buy a 911 conversion fan kit for a 1.7, will it fit a 2.0 for when I upgrade?
