944 struts to 1303
I have read up on this but still a little confused..
I have a possible 87 model year front spindle complete with struts and everything that goes on the spindle.. I have a question.. Can I use these struts, I understand that I need to switch the top (hat) or mounts from my vw to make it work.. Can I run some tappered springs like from Top line to get the ride height I need and fit Porsche wheels up front.. (17x7.5).. I am trying to save.. ALso due to the different year change on Porsche components I am thinking this may be a possible solution... Will tappered springs fit ? or are they to narrow for porsche strut body.. How much will it lower the car with vw top stuff for the strut.. Alex PLEASE HELP
