I came across this in a porsche catalog and thought. "Hey! another useles, expensive piece of eye-candy for my car!!".

Anyone ever seen one before and is there anything available for a beetle?
If not...How could I make some and would they serve ANY purpose whatsoever?

Apparently it bolts on the two seatbelt hardpoints and "supposedly" stregnthen and tightens the body up a bit. Sounds reasonable. BUT is it?
