Thanks to our pal overseas.. Who was kind enough to send me a CD to share with the rest of this side of the POND..

I was going to have a friend host, but he has fallen off the planet..

This is truely a remarkable resource.. that needs to get into the hands of everyone..

total of 24 issues, with lots and lots of info.. its kinda like the best of Germanlook articles and info..

Can someone host this? or put it as a downloadable on the forum..

I will gladly send the Cd to that person.. so we can go from there..
It is truely to large to email since each PDF is 7 MB or more..

Please help me as this is awesome info..
Alex

Email me or PM I can definetely make a few CD.. or if we can find somewhere to FTP them from..

Alex,

I can host it here. PM if you want to go that route and I will get you mailing info. I think I speak for all when I say "Thanks for sharing with the rest of the GL community". Any copyright issues with this content? I haven't looked at this in any detail yet. I don't need legal issues on top of everything else I am doing at the moment.

I'm glad though that other people see what a good source of info it is, now as it was then - thought I was the only one !

Angelo- Email sent.. sorry again for the confusion

Type4boy anyway of find out if the club could leverage these articles.. so that we don't get into copyright issues.. I will gladly contact if need be..
For what its worth, I hope we can agree on getting the word out.. this info was truely wonderful, its like a GL bible..
Would be a waste to see it die..

That being said, PM me if anyone is interested.. we can figure out a way of non-profit sharing..offline.

Lee is that you Mr. Arnold Sir ?

Sure will send pics of my exhaust.

Lee, If you know Neil, as I haven't spoken to him for a looong time. Could you ask his opinion ?

I've been meaning to ask him but a bit nervous at what reception I could get.
And he could quite rightly so object.

I've no ideas of copyrights, etc.. other that the obvious, I had a thought maybe distribute it freely or put a small price on it and dontate all proceeds to a charity?

I just think it is what modifying VW's was all about, and as Alex said, Germanlook resource before Germanlook was even born !

Bugpower has been an inspiration for me as for Lee, for example, my home built rear disc conversion evolved from the a feature in the mag (even though it took me nearly 10 years to do!)

If there is a Nostalgia ressurection going on in the uk (back to 89) this has got to be the cherry on the top!

All the best, Angelo

I have scanned all the issues into PDF format at my expense and have put them onto a CD, for preservation and ease of use, I could send him a copy to see what he thinks
