I beleve that cylender will work....the back piece of the piston looks a little different...and the spacing on the mounting holes may be different...but you should be able to make it work....you may have to do osme mods with the brake lines....but it looks like it would work...if I rember right the rears are on a single line running to the back and 2 for the front just like the porsche one...but I dont know what the other 2 are for on the top???? and I would be intrested to see if the switch for the taillights is the same size ....that one doesnt liik like it has one???...but I think you can get block offs for the top fittings.....I dont know how the master cylender is on the 69...I only have expereince with my 64....I think the top 2 fitting are for a brake booster???correct me if I am wrong...and dont forget to bench bleed the cylender like I did....allot of bleeding at the wheels ...lol

The top fittings are for the remote reservoir.
2 fitting (closest to the bulk head mount) are for the front circuit 1 fitting for the rear. If you have the single pot 944 brakes then this is the master cylinder you should use. Best to confirm that it is 23.?? and 19.06 diameter pistons before spending the money. If you have standard bug brakes- stick with the stock 19mm MC as that is the best MC for their brakes- using this will not improve it- it will make it worse! If you have 4 pots in the circuit somewhere- you'll need to do some research- I don't know what the best MC size is for them. Cheers Jeremy
